Debbie Hart
Debbie has been painting for three years now, fulfilling a passion she has always had for art.
Her bright vivid work often has a touch of comedy and has been well received by the public. Her acrylic paintings are best described as “contemporary naïve fun stuff”. Outdoor beach scenes and native birds regularly feature in her work, as do local landmarks such as Mount Maunganui.
She has recently been experimenting with modeling compound mixed in with the paint, creating texture and a 3d effect.
Debbie enjoys seeing the reactions of people viewing her art – her theory is that art should be fun, make you smile.
