Beautifully handmade flame work – Murano Glass charms represent the vibrant colours evident in New Zealand’s iconic vistas. Aotearoa’s magnificent scenery inspired this collection. Each glass charm is individual in its creation – no two will be exactly the same.
Design inspiration: The swirling greens in this charm represent Canterbury’s tussock grasslands which quickly transform from plains of lush green during the region’s wet winter months to a landscape of parched and burnt yellows as a result of Canterbury’s hot summer months and drying Norwesters. The dominant red represents the stunning sunsets and sunrises that Cantabrians are priviledged to enjoy over the Southern Alps to the West. Red is also a colour of passion and reflects the determination, zeal and tenacity of Cantabrians.
